Acceptances and resignations announced at yesterday's meeting of the University of Canterbury Council were:—
Acceptances: Dr P. J. McElroy, post-doctoral research, University of Bristol (lecturer in chemical engineering); Mr E. Countryman, Ph.D. student, Cornell University (lecturer in history); Dr C. L. McLay, lecturer in department of biological studies, University of California (lecturer in zoology); Mr B. L. Rhoades, industrial engineer (assistant-lecturer in mechanical engineering); Mr W. A Murray, Ph.D. student, University of Wisconsin (post doctoral fellowship in civil engineering). Resignation: Mr P. N. Russell, Warden, Warwick House, as from January 31, 1971.
