Workshop For Artists
(N.Z. Press Association > WELLINGTON, July 26. Talented young artists from {secondary schools throughout ■New Zealand will attend a residential workshop in Wellington during the May holidays next year. The project, planned by the National Bank with the help of the Education Department, was announced today to coincide with Education Week.
The bank’s general manager (Mr J. Mowbray) said school art teachers would be invited to submit work by their most-promising pupils With the help of district advisers in art and crafts these would be examined in 10 districts, and from these districts about 25 students would be chosen.
