Issue Of Stamps
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 26. Four commemorative stamps will be issued in the first six months of 1971, the Postmaster-General (Mr McCready) said today. Details of the stamp programme is: January 20. Definitive stamps of Maori artifacts designs: 15c, 18c, and 20c. February 10.—Two stamps commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Country Women’s Institutes and Rotary International in New Zealand. March 3. One Ton Cup yachting, two stamps. The issue will be released when the next series is held in New Zealand. April 14.—Definitive stamps featuring national parks designs: 25c, 28c, 30c, and 50c. May 12.—Three stamps commemorating the centenaries of Auckland City, Invercargill, and Palmerston North. June 9.—Two stamps commemorating the twentyfifth anniversary of U.N.I.C.E.F. and the tenth anniversary of the Antarctic Treaty.
