N.Z. Beaten In Bridge Test
(N.Z.PA. Staff Correspondent) MELBOURNE. The Australian open bridge team again proved too good for New Zealand when it won the second test match at Melbourne, on Saturday night.' Australia won the first international in Sydney earlier in the week. It scored a 111-66 victory in the second. The scores were level at 36 at the half-way point but Australia pulled clear in the second half.
The New Zealand women who beat Australia, 2-0, in the test rubber in Brisbane and Sydney, went down 52-69 to the Victorian men on Saturday night.
