Cycling Races
The Tlnwald rider, R. Clayton, was first home in the Christchurch Cycling Club's 32-mile race for the Harry Cations Rose Bowl at Halswell on Saturday. Clayton and A. Howlson, riding off 12mln, stayed well clear of the 7min bunch who were eventually overtaken on the last lap by a group of riders from the scratch and break mark.
