WAKATIPU RACE
Chch Boat Winner
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. Ninety-eight of the 100 craft entered competed in the Southern Lake Taupo race on Lake Wakatipu on Saturday.
The winner of the speed section in his 450 h.p. Chevroletpowered jet boat was A. C. Dick, of Christchurch.
Canterbury drivers dominated the speed section and an allwoman Christchurch team (B. Rodgers and L. Butler) finished sixth.
