The Rev. G. S. Lamont, of Christchurch', has been appointed as the first warden of the University of Waikato’s Bryant Hall. There were about 50 applicants for the post. Mr Lamont, a minister of the Church of England, is a graduate of the University of Canterbury, and recently attended a post-graduate course at the University of Durham. He is married, with five daughters. He will take up his position on December 1.-(P.A.)
