P.M. Welcomes Visit
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 16. The Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) has welcomed the announcement made in London today that the British Secretary of State for Defence (Lord Carrington) will visit New Zealand from August 2 to August 4. Lord and Lady Carrington will be accompanied by a small group of defence advisers. They will visit this country in the course of a tour that will take them to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Canberra for discussions on defence arrangements for the Malaysia-Singapore area.
