Ice Hockey Switched
Because of poor ice conditions, the New Zealand ice hockey championships, which were to have been held in conjunction with the national i long-track speed skating ; championships at the Manor- | burn Dam, Alexandra, will now take place at Lake jTekapo this week-end. Seven teams will play for the Erewhon Cup, which is held by the Oturehua Club (Central Otago), which beat Centaurus (Christchurch), 10-2, in last year’s final.
