Speeds Not Affected
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 16. The increase in the speed limit to 60 m.p.h. appeared to have had very little effect on the speeds of the great majority of drivers, the Minister of Transport (Mr Gordon), said in Parliament today in reply to a question. The Ministry of Transport was still studying the results of the increase and he could not say what effect it had had on accidents.
