Mr Adrian Vickers, one of the first of the Sydney owners to •how interest in the South Island thoroughbred sale, will be back in Christchurch next month.
His interest Ln this year’s sale has been quickened after the recent win at Kembla Grange of Calibrite (CampoAlso), which was bred at Morwenstow Stud, Kaiapoi.
Record Colt Named The Agricola—Chantal colt bought by the Adelaide trainer “Bart’’ Cummings for a record J rice of $60,000 at Trentham last anuary, will race as Hampton's Pride. Cummings bought the colt for Western Australia's “chicken king,’’ Mr Alf Hampton.
