Garden Club Awards
Trophies were presented at the thirtieth annual meeting of the Mount Pleasant Garden Club by the patron (Mrs V. Edgar). Awards were: Shrub section cup and specimen bloom cup, Mrs Preston: miniature section cup. vegetables section cup, and most points cup, Mrs M. Jones; decorative open cup. Mrs D. Davey: decorative A cup, Mrs L. W. Best; decorative B cup, Mrs V. Preston: greatest improvement in decorative art cup, Mrs L W Best.
Officers elected were: Patrons. Mesdames V. Edgar and C. Allington; president. Mrs L. Corner; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Fiecken and L. Davi. son; secretary, Mrs L. W. Best; treasurer, Mrs C. G. Hamilton; committee, Mesdames A. C. Bloxham. H. E. Collins, D. H. Crouch, D. Davey, L. G. Davison, J. Dobson. J. Fiecken, J. T. Fitzgerald. G. Grimsnett, G. R Parker. E W Radcliffe.
