WELLINGTON, July 14. The Government today deferred the introduction of legislation aimed at removing the causes of threatened strike action in the Railways Department The Minister of Transport (Mr Gordon) had announced yesterday that legislation was pending. But he told the House today that the Combined State Services Organisation, together with the railway unions, had sought a deferment of the introduction of the legislation until further consultations with the Government
