TRUSTEES Lift In Profit 85 Per Cent

(N Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 12. The Perpetual Trustees, Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd, increased its tax paid profit by more than 85 per cent for the year to March 31. The final result was $34,793, compared with $18,774 in 1969—an increase of $16,019. The directors are recommending that the final dividend be increased to 51 per cent, making a total dividend of 8 per cent for the year. This will require $13,500 compared, with $10,969 for the 61 per cent last year. Despite rising costs, it is anticipated that the higher ] dividend can be maintained in the future. The chairman (Mr C. R. Nicholson) said in the directors’ report that improved profit performance would be possible after completion of ;the companys’ new office premises at Oamaru and Invercargill.
