Hit-And-Run Suspected
Christchurch police were searching the city last night for the driver of a car which allegedly failed to stop after an accident.
Allan Raymond Bush, aged 16, of 76 Neill Street, Hornby, suffered head injuries when his motor-cycle and a car collided in Lincoln Road, near Dickens Street, about 6.15 p.m. He has been admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital where his condition last night was satisfactory. The police are interested in locating any witnesses of the accident, particularly the driver and occupants of a 1957-60 Hillman or Humber I car.
