Butcheries Burgled
Two butcher’s shops belonging to M.M.M. Butchers, Ltd, were burgled recently. From the shop in Acheson Avenue a roll of bacon and some pork to a total value of $16.30 was taken. A transistor radio worth $lO and $9O in cash were taken from the shop in Worcester Street. Two stop-watches worth a total of $BO were taken when the Christchurch South Intermediate School was broken into. A stop-watch worth $4O and $8.50 in cash were taken frqm Spreydon School.
