PAKISTANIS PROTEST
Protection Sought (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyrights LONDON, May 25. Several hundred Pakistanis marched to No. 10 Downing Street yesterday to ask for protection again attacks by gangs of “skinheads.” Mr Abdur Raquib, the gen-eral-secretary of the National Federation of Pakistani Associations, delivered a letter for the Prime Minister (Mr Wilson) urging the Government to guarantee the safety and security of the lives and property of Pakistanis in Britain.
The letter added: “We are not for retaliation, and do not want to take the law in our own hands.” “Skinheads,” teen - agers with close-cropped hair, have recently made several attacks on Pakistanis in the East End of London.
