Problems Of Doctors
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, April 22. ' Too many doctors- were turning to drugs and alcohol for relaxation and to lighten their work load, the superintendent at Kingseat Psychiatric Hospital (Dr F. McDonald) said in an interview yesterday. “Instead, they should be looking for the real cause of their problems and doing something constructive about them,” Dr McDonald said. Commenting on an Australian report warning medical practitioners of dangers involved, he said there was no real cause for concern in New Zealand at the moment, but the tendency was increasing.
