The Royal Commonwealth Society held its annual meeting recently and the officers elected were: Chairman. Mrs G. Hattaway; vice-chairmen, Mesdames I. E. Shaw and A. M. Vile; treasurer, Mrs J. N. Westgarth; secretary, Mrs A. M. Vile; committee, Mesdames M. James, G Griffiths, J. Simpson, D. Rose, K Bartlett, R. Drayton, G Austing, G. Newberry, I. Raffle, S. Joblin, R Smith, Miss A. Hall, immediate past chairman, Mrs A. Morland.
Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Elmwood Croquet Club were: President Mrs J. M. Smillie; senior vice-president, Mrs J. E. Moffat; junior vicepresident, Mrs C. Lockhart; secretary, Mrs A. P. McKerrow; treasurer. Mrs E. Roll; delegate, Mrs W. Adorian; captain, Mrs K. Fisher; vice-captain, Mrs M. Blackmore; social convener Mrs A. Barron: committee. Mesdames R. Foster, J. Stead G. Smith.
