C Stone topped the Malvern Cricket Sub-association's batting averages and also scored the most runs on aggregate for the 1969-70 season. Stone averaged 78.6 runs an innings and scored a total of 708 runs throughout the season. A. Wall hit the highest score of the season. 138 not out. and also took the most catches (14> in the field. Bowling slow leg-breaks. M. Frew took the most wickets. 50. just three ahead of his closest rival, S. Reardon. 47. A.
