FUSELAGE JOINED ON FIRST DC10.—A major step in the final assembly of the McDonnell Douglas DC10 trl-jetllner is taken as the aft section is connected to the previously-joined forward and middle sections. Earlier the wing had been joined to the middle section. Installations are progressing on all three sections for a second DC10 in another hangar at the plant in Long Beach, California.
