Soccer At Sea
Kaliningrad seamen who are towing the world’s largest floating dock from the Baltic Sea to the Soviet Far East have sporting facilities on hand—they use the dock as a soccer field, according to the Soviet Union Legation in Wellington. The dock, which is designed for repairing large fishing vessels, has a displacement of 27,000 tons. —Wellington, April 6.
