Favourite Fails In T.T. Race
(N Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. P. Pleon. of Palmerston North, won the New Zealand 500 c.c. miniature T.T. championship at the Tuhikaramea circuit, near Hamilton, yesterday. He beat a fellow Palmerston North rider, A. Collison, and an Aucklander. A. Frank lin. The favourite for the race. H Anderson, a former world champion, from the Waikato, fell early in the race and had trouble restarting his machine.
