Hepatitis Hope The world's smallest-known human virus has been seen in I the nucleus of the hepatitislinfected liver cell through an electron microscope, with the laid of chemicals to help to I identify it. The Carlo Erba i Foundation in Rome says that the virus was seen by Professor Carlo Sirtori, a World [ Health Organisation cancer 'expert, and that its sighting I may open the way for the development of a vaccine iagainst the disease.—Milan, i March 1. Timber Tour Nine members of Japanese timber and pulp companies left Auckland by air yesterday after spending four days looking at New Zealand's forestry industry. They toured ■the Kawerau timber mill and forests, and port facilities at Mount Maunganui, where they paid close attention to log-hapdhng methods. The group has gone to Melbourne, where they will study Australian plant connected with the timber industry.—(P.A.).
