Greek Bishop’s Enthronement
The new Bishop of the i Greek Orthodox Church in the j recently formed Metropolis !of New Zealand (Bishop Dionysios) will be enthroned in Christchurch on March 8 by the Archbishop of the Australian, New Zealand and South East Asian Orthodox | Church (Archbishop Ezekiel Tsoulakes). The service, which will be attended by about 50 members of the Greek Orthodox Church in Christchurch as ■well as representatives from iseveral other churches, will jbe held in the Greek Ortho-, dox Church, Roosevelt AveInue, St Albans. Bishop Dionysios was form- . erly Assistant Bishop of Australia and a member of the executive committee of the Australian Council of Churches. Before coming to Christchurch he will also be enthroned in Wellington, where he will live, on March 7. The metropolis of which he will be in charge includes Japan and India.
