Lambs Bring $7 At Meth ven Sale
Ewe lambs sold to $7 at the Methven ewe and wether lamb sale last week. Only a small gallery followed the sale but very satisfactory sales were made. The yarding consisted of medium to good ewe and wether lambs and most were absorbed locally. The estate of J. H. C. Sauer realised S 7 for 260 Romney ewe lambs and other good prices included 56.40 to 6.80 for 236 Corriedales from R. H. Branch, 56.80 for 100 Bor der cross lambs and 56.30 for three-quarterbreds from Surrey Hills station and 56.60 for 63 Border halfbred cross from D. J. Sim.
