PETITION
Mini-skirted London shop girls are petitioning the Home Secretary for protection because, as one girl put it, “London has overtaken Paris for the menace of bottom pinching.”
The girls want police travelling in trains to prevent their rush hour journey home from turning into a “blush hour."
Lasting Flowers.—lf you warit eut flowers to last, put them in the same room as a green-leafed house plant—they are nature’s own humidifiers.
