Events in the South leland senior marching championships, held at English Park yesterday, resulted:— Champion team (ColgatePalmolive Cup and medals): Minvette 1; (for C. H. Hamilton Cup and medais), Skelilerup Mtlitaires 2: (for Bluff Marching Club’s trophy and medals): Philips Hi-Z 3. Champion leader (for Joyce. Proctor Cup and medal): Mrs P. Inder. Skellerup; second leader (medal): D. Wright, Glengyle; third leader (medal): J. Archer, MqCormettes. First display (for Mount Cook Tourist Cup and medals): Skelilerup Militaires. First uniform (fbr South Canterbury Shearers’ Cup): Red Admirals. Champion insructor (for South Canterbury R.S.A. Cup): Mrs Solomon, Minvette. Aggregate (for Greymouth L.V.A. Cup): Minvette. March past (for Ellamac Shield): Philips Hi-Z.
