Music Awards Announced
(N.Z.P.A.-Rciiter —Copyright) LONDON, March 1. Five overseas students of music, two of them New Zea-[ landers, have been awarded free tuition in Britain and a living allowance of £2OO a year for three years. The awards have been made by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. The two New Zealanders, Miss Virginia Hopkins and Mr Ivan Andrews, both from Auckland, will study the cello in London.
Miss. Lim Tshui Fei, of Singapore, Miss Ramya de Livera, of Ceylon, and Mr Gabriel Kwok Ka Tak, of Hong Kong, will all study pianoforte.
