Craftsman For Trentham
“The Press” Special Service CAMBRIDGE. Craftsman, a candidate for the Fulton High-weight at Pukekohe tomorrow, will make a trip to Trentham for the coming two-day meeting if he races up to expectations. He was second twice at Trentham in January. The middle-distance hack races will be his mission, with G. F. Hughes his likely rider. If Craftsman goes south he will be quartered at Otaki. His well performed stablemate. Blue Winter, which is back in train* ing may also accompany Crafts* man as a companion. The promising Fair's Fair gelding. Trutone. is balk in work with J. W. Winder itr ! preparation for Autumn racing. Trytone, after winning two intermediate races last spring accompanied Ben Lomond on his Australian trip. Trutone had a third and fourth in four starts in M®l* bourne. k He was spelled after returning and has built up to the satisfaction of his trainer. The good winter sprinter, Cambridge Fatr, antf the consistent steeplechaser. Digger, are others in Winder's team which ate back in training after summer spells.
