Grassland Conference
The 1970 annual conference of the New Zealand Grassland Association will be held at Lincoln College from May 18 to 20. According to the secretary of the association. Mrs H. Foster, this will be a technical conference and' it is anticipated that more than 60 overseas grassland workers will attend following the eleventh international grassland congress, which will be held at Surfers Paradise in Queensland from April 13 to 23.
Four papers will be presented in each of the five conference sessions dealing with the following themes—present and future trends in grassland research, the nutritive value of pasture species, lucerne and lucerne management intensive graz ing management, and a regional survey of pasture productivity and management in New Zealand. Nine leading overseas grassland workers as well as New Zealand workers will be presenting papers.
