For the first time Queens land, Australia’s latest night ! trotting state, is represented Lucky Creed, winner of 261 of his last 27 races, and a ! pre-post favourite for the final; i! a fortnight hence, is from that. 1 j state. Waitaki Elect and Garcon; Roux (first heat), Leading' Light and Stella Frost i (second), and Co Pilot and; ; Torrent (fourth) will dodge' i Lucky Creed tonight. i The unlucky New Zealand horse drawn in the third heal is Meadow Bank. The South Australian pacer, Adios Court, second to Rich mond Lass at Aedlaide last ’.year, is favourite, with Gar | con Roux second favourite, in ‘j the first heat. I Stella Frost is favourite for ' the second heat with Lead ing Light at reasonable odds.! 1 Meadow Bank is at long odds i for the third heat in which Lucky Creed is favourite i. while Co Pilot and Torrent are among the ousiders in the I fourth heat.
