i CV Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. Three New Zealand golfers shot sub-par rounds to stay close to the leaders in the first round of the New South Wales Open championship at Pymble yesterday. M. Lister headed the contingent with a 68, followed by B. T Boys 70 and A. G. Palmer 71. Three Australians—K. D. G. Nagle, R. Vines and E. W. Dunk—shared the lead on 66. with C. Johnston (Australia) and M. Bembridge (England), with 67. The scores of other New Zealanders were W. J. Godfrey 73 and T. Kendall 74.
