Strike In Cambodia
(N Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) I SAIGON, Feb. 12. American jet-fighter bombers went into action across the Cambodian border for the first time this year after guerrilla anti-aircraft guns brought down a light observation helicopter. A United States military spokesman in Saigon said today that the jets struck at the gun pbsitions in Cambodian territory yesterday after a United States Army helicopter near the frontier “received fire from Cambodia, exploded in mid-air and crashed.” The last American strikes into Cambodia took place last December after a North Vietnamese attack on Special Forces camps along the border west of Saigon.
