Road Closed
Sir, —The letter of “Mauvais Tourisme” submitted to the Waitakl County Council received no comment. My hus-
band and I on December 27 travelled from Oarnaru via the coast road wishing to join the main road at Wainakarua. We, too, received no prior warning of a road closed until we were confronted with the same notice as your previous correspondent. We, too, would like to know why there was not a notice at Kakanui. Also, a special trip to Moeraki to see the famous window in the newly-restored church ended in frustration: door locked, as were the doors of the Hampden and Waimate museums.—Yours, etc., NORTH NEXT TIME.
