Forest Seeks More Shares
New Zealand Paper Mills, Ltd, shares sold 40c up in: Dunedin today on news of a' proposal by N.Z. Forest Products, Ltd, to buy the shares held by Fletcher Trust and Investment Company, Ltd,; and by the public. The proposals were being: examined, the directors of Paper Mills said, and in the meantime shareholders should not sell their shares. The: terms of the bid were not dis-! closed.
Forest Products already owns 600,500 of the two million 100 c shares in Paper Mills. Fletcher Trust holds 564,700 and the rest is in public hands. Canterbury Roller The directors of Canterbury Roller Flour Mills Company, Ltd, Ashburton, announced | yesterday that they would recommend a dividend of 10 per cent. No further details were given
