EXPO SHEEP PARADE.—Large crowds at the Horowhenua Show saw parades by the eight trained rams which will go to Expo 70 at Osaka. The group includes Merino, Romney, Corriedale, Southdown, Perendale, Border Leicester, Suffolk, and Cheviot. Valued at more than 10,000 dollars, the rams have been trained for the last 10 months by Mr and Mrs P. Bryant, of Levin. They are shown standing quietly while Mr Godfrey Bowen, organiser of the tour, describes their good points and mannequins model wool garments. The sheep walk one by one to their places on the dais.
