Contribution To Philippines
(N.Z. Press Association) j WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. A further contribution of $4743 towards the Philippines Rural Reconstruction Movement was announced today by C.0.R.5.0.’s youth officer and the secretary of Youth Against Hunger (Mr A. Arnold).
The money will raise the total Y.A.H. contribution to the movement to $13,000 and will be the final instalment in a three-year commitment by the young people in New Zealand. Mr Arnold said the New Zealand contribution had supported projects in five villages with a total population of 8964.
