Boeing Modification
The fitting of a high-per-formance thrust reverser on the last of the National Airways Corporation’s three Boeing 737 s will begin on Monday. N.A.C. had planned to have, all three of its Bqeings converted and in service by last Christmas, but the Auckland shipping dispute held up delivery of parts. The engine nacelles have to be extended during the modification, which takes 300 man-hours.
