MR AGNEW’S VISIT
. (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, December 8. The United States VicePresident (Mr Spiro Agnew), who is to visit New Zealand in mid-January, may not visit the capital The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight that discussions with Mr Agnew might take place further north. He would not confirm a venue, but it is believed that Auckland, Wairakei or the Taupo area are possibilities. "At that time of the year it is a matter of logistics,” Mr Holyoake said.
