UNIVERSITY 0E PAPUA AND NEW GUINEA TUTOR/SENKIR TUTOR IN MATHEMATICS APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED from suitablyqualified persons for the position of Tutor or Senior Tutor in the Department of Mathematics. The main teaching responsibility will be in the Preliminary Year, a pre-matriculation year conducted by the University. Previous teaching experience desirable. It is hoped that the successful applicant will be able to take up duties in February or early March, 1970. Further information about courses can be obtained from the Acting Head, Department of Mathematics. Salary Scales: Senior Tutor $A5225-$A5765 per annum. Tutor $A4235-$A4775 per annum. Plus: SA36O per annum for a married male appointee. KEDGLEY, Registrar. 3393 UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO AND THE OTAGO HOSPITAL BOARD FULL-TIME RESPIRATORY PHYSICIAN AND LECTURER APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for the position of Full-time Respiratory Physician and Lecturer on the Clinical and Teaching Staff of the Dunedin Hospital and Department of Medicine. Applicants must have been medically qualified for eight years, hold a higher qualification and have had at least five years’ experience in the specialty. The Salary Scale prescribed under the Hospital Employment (Medical Officers) Regulations for a Specialist is $6090-$BlOO by nine automatic annual increases and the regulations also provide for progression beyond the maximum automatic rate of $BlOO per annum in three steps to $9400 in cases of exceptional responsibility or of, exceptional merit Conditions of Appointment may be obtained from the Secretary to the Board.
