Radio Warrant Sought
N.Z. Press Association WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. ’ The Broadcasting Authority had received an application from the Independent Broadcasting Company, Ltd, Hamilton, for a sound radio warrant for a medium-frequency broadcasting station to serve the Waikato, Hauraki Plans, Te Kuiti area, the chairman of the authority (Mr R. T. Peacock), said today.
