CAPPING BOOK
Students’ Assn Charged (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct 14. The Auckland University Students’ Association was today charged in the Magistrate’s Court with selling an indecent document The hearing was adjourned by Mr N. M. Izard, S.M., to December 16. The charge read that on May 6, at Auckland, the association sold an Indecent document a copy of the capping book, Auckland, 1969, knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that it was indecent. Appearing for the police, Mr S. B. W. Grieve said the capping book had been submitted to the Indecent Publications Tribunal. He asked that., the prosecution be adjourned pending the tribunal’s decision. Mr A. P. Molloy appeared for the association.
