Two Houses Sold
A small modern weatherboard bungalow with one bedroom at 113 Taylor’s Mistake Road, Scarborough, was sold for $7950 at auction yesterday. The 64-perch section, which is planted in native shrubs and trees, is already subdivided into two front sections of 34.8 perches and 29.2 perches. The auctioneer was Mr D. O. Chapman, of Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. A roughcast bungalow at 17 Parish Street, Shirley, was passed in at $7lOO at auction yesterday, but was sold after the auction at an undisclosed price. The house has two double bedrooms and is on a section of 29 perches. The Government valuation is $5500. The auctioneer for Whittle, Knight and Boatwood, Ltd, was Mr W. J. Knight
