Moderator Elected
The Rev. E. H. Z. Chapman, who has been minister of the Presbyterian parish of St Martins for the last six years, was elected Moderator of the Christchurch Presbytery for the coming year at the monthly meeting of the presbytery last evening. He will be inducted into the position at the next meeting of the presbytery on December 9. Before coming to St Martins, Mr Chapman was minister of the Cheviot parish for five years.
