Class II Road System Wanted
N.Z. Press Association WELLINGTON. October 9. While the ultimate aim of the National Roads Board is to do away with the need for road classification altogether, its immediate target is to provide a class II system over the whole country, with most State highways and county arterial routes being brought up to class I as soon as possible. This was stated in the board’s flve-yeariy review, presented to Parliament today.
