British Insurance Broker Enters New Zealand
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 8. Sedgwick, Collins (Holdings), Ltd, London, one of the largest insurance brokers in the world, is opening its books in New Zealand under the name of Sedgwick, Collins (N.Z.), Ltd. The company will be 49 per cent New Zealand owned and the remaining 51 per cent will be held by the parent company, whose business it is to place world-wide insurances and reinsurances in the insurance company market at Lloyd’s. The manager of the New Zealand company is Mr R, I. Fenwick, a New Zealander.
