Travel Agents Criticised
Racial “discrimination” by travel agents has been criticised by the honorary secretary of the Citizens’ Association for Racial Equality (Mr T. O. Newnham) in a letter to “The Press.” “The South African ConsulGeneral has stated that there will be no discrimination in supporters' parties visiting South Africa with the proposed 1970 All Black touring team—‘all will be treated rs New Zealanders',” said Mr Newnham. “If travel agents honestly believe this, why are they continuing to quiz applicants regarding their race? They should stop this discriminatory practice forthwith," he said.
