Child Drowns In Pool
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Sept 21. A child drowned in the Hauraki hot springs at Waitakaruru about 3 p.m. yesterday. She was Elaine Wilhemena van Buitene, aged six, of Main Road, Mercer. The child, who went to the springs with family friends, was found at the bottom of the Cloudy Pool by Miss Alison Argent, aged 15, of Thames.
