Libyans Asked To Use Arabic
(N.Z P.A. -Reuter— Copyright) TRIPOLI (Libya), Sept. 21. Libya’s ruling revolutionary council has asked ministries, companies and shop-owners to put all signs, cards and tickets in Arabic only, by the end of this month. The Minister of the Interior (Lieutenant Colonel Moussa Armad) has said a study is being made to end the services of many foreigners in Libya, especially those who had entered the country illegally. Transfer of expatriates’ wages out of the country has been reduced to 60 per cent Hitherto they could transfer all their wages. ...
